Food Pantry
We receive four large deliveries every month on Tuesdays around 8 am to about 11 am. During this time, we unload the pallets of food and stock/arrange the food in the pantry.
We service our clients every Wednesday from 3:30 pm-5:30 pm, volunteers normally arrive around 2:30 pm and leave between 5:30 pm-6 pm.
These are some of the tasks that we do on Wednesdays:
- Register clients as they come in
- Help clients with food distribution
- Help clients carrying food to their cars
- Clean the freezers
- Sweep and mop the pantry
- Rearrange stock room
- Stock distribution area
- Garbage disposal
How do I apply for food assistance?
The Food Pantry is open every Wednesday from 3:30 to 5:30 pm
To sign up for assistance, we need your name, address, birthday, and number of people in your household.
We service Melrose Pak and the adjacent towns.
